The entire "Dark Tower' series by Stephen King and yes, everything that touches you influences your life in some way I suppose so, yes.

Oh, so you like scary books! Do you like his movies as well?

Going to go with a series. "A Dream of Eagles" by Jack Whyte is my personal favourite series of all time. A retelling of the legend of King Arthur, starting back in Roman Times, before he was even born. It appeals to me in a lot of ways, though it seems to be hit or miss for most people.

Really, if fueled my love of history, and is one of those series' that I go back and read once a year for that nice sense of familiarity.

Sounds very interesting, especially as the series reaches so far back into history.

So many of them lol. But maybe Gates of Fire by Steven Pressfield. Love historical fiction. Recently read shogun Shogun by James Clavel and that one was great too. I still haven't read the others from the series though.

I don't really think I have a favorite lol, there's too many that I like and they're all from diff genres.

Both interesting choices, even historical fiction imparts much truth without naming actual names ;)

My favorite is Ramcharitmanas which reflects the high moral standards of Indian society in a poetic form....it is a must read manual for the present degrading human society. It is a vital collection of philosophy, wisdom, love& every other attributes of life.....written by Goswami Tulsidas it is widely acclaimed throughout the learned class.....!

Loved reading very much "the talented Mr Ripley" and of course the lord of the rings trilogy when I was younger :)

"The Breadwinner? and "Parawana" by 'Deborah Ellis'

Tough call, really.

the best overall book was The Game of Thrones, as it started the Song of Ice and Fire series, which took a very adult and realistic spin on fantasy, which before that was always geared toward teens and came off as childish.

The most influencial book was probably Wizard's First Rule, because of the passion of the prose. Fact is, the story isn't very well thought out, and very predictable, but when the characters fell in love, I fell in love with them.

Kushiel's Dart started a great trilogy, and it took a very strange twist on many things, but the main thing is, it introduced eroticism in a beautiful way.

The Stranger by Albert Camus or Animal Farm by George Orwell. Both books influenced quite a bit when I was younger, forcing me to look outside of myself and my small town attitude. I would highly recommend both books (or the animated movie they did for Animal Farm) to anyone.

"The Five People You Meet in Heaven"..the only book that I have ever read in less than 2 hours I guess.

The best book I've ever read is "Oversoul Seven" by Jane Roberts. It's full of love, wit and wisdom. Really inspiring!
The book that influenced me the most has to be "Christiane F.: Autobiography of a Girl of the Streets and Heroin Addict". There's no other book I've read more often and I don't even know why. It's really sad, but haunting!
