What is the most important lesson you've learned as a blogger?

Jon Craig on Blogging

I'll bet that every one of us who've been regular bloggers have discovered things about blogging over the course of our first year (or more) of blogging - things we wished we'd understood from the start.

If you could choose one thing that has improved the quality and/or success of your blog, what would it be?

Networking sites and just connecting with my followers in general!

Mrs M, I can see that your site is a real celebration of the joys of your family life. I like it.

I'd say that for me, the biggest realization was the importance of editing my own posts. At some point, I realized that if I take a post I've written, and reduce the word-count by about 20%, the post was almost always improved.

Socializing and networking is a good way to make friends and helps spread news about your blog.

Thats the biggest one I've learned, to me its like the most important one too as without it your more or less showing off the blog to yourself lol
