What Is Your Best Loved and Most Hated Place

Leon Gore on Airport, Hospitals, Coffee

Best love is airport. The anticipation of being on air always give me the rush. I like airport food, taste good and quick to serve and can be enjoyed instantly. Imagine sipping a hot cup of coffee while reading early news paper waiting to be boarded your plane. Also airport epitomize life in motion, there is someone leaving and someone arriving home. The feeling is ecstatic whether your sending off or welcoming, at least for me, that includes all activity from waiting, to boarding.

I hate the most are hospitals. These places brings bad news most of the time. Remember the last time you checked in a hospital, can you recall why? the only happy moments in a hospital is when someone gave birth. But the rest is sad news. Whether we check out well, we go to hospitals when there are bad news about our health status , worst an accident. Staying in a hospital premised from a sickness. So nothing to be happy about.

In that specific sense....I love to be in some park of nature having some lush green trees & grass with colourful flowers & every other aspect of mother nature.
I hate being in over crowded places where there is an absence of a peaceful surrounding.

If my nature loving quality will overtake me then I will be with you with mother nature somewhere in a grassy mountain experiencing the cold morning grass dew. . .still with hot coffee , LOL . . thanks for your thoughts Ritesh. . .

I love being on rivers. I was raised by rivers and was in them every day. I particularly love waterfalls and water running over rocks creating that soothing sound. Dammnnn now I'm home sick !!!

Hi Teddy, hope you can find time to see some of our waters here in the Philippines, thanks for posting.

If I'd reply, the people reading these answers would say I copied teddy's reply. But honestly,
I love the places near water. Hills and some river near by where I can sit for a long time is my favorite place.
The place I hate is, (apart hospital, that's obvious) bank because it is very monotonous and vegetable market.(its boring, and it is way to diffrent in country like India)

We are of the same mind Princess

No worries Princess, nobody has a monopoly of places they love to be in, I like Teddy's place also of running water over rocks , the sound of it is music to my ears also. And yeah , banks is quite a lonely place or any where that there is a long queue. . .ha ha ha

I love being in the Mountains. The broken landscape, amazing views, and more than likely beautiful natural places like waterfalls and such.

I HATE being in flat places, where you can see forever in every direction, and there's nothing to see at all.

As someone who grew up in the Lake District, I know exactly how you feel Dan.

A Brainless Nod ∙ 18 weeks ago

I grew up the middle of Texas....I could see the next town over (10 miles away) standing on my street....

I moved to Western North Carolina and was in awe of the place the entire 11 years I was there. Amazing what a change of scenery can do for the soul.

Even I've lived in a place with water and hills all around. and now I've shifted to a place where there no such scene till long distance. :(

Teddy ∙ 18 weeks ago

Hi Leon, I would truly love to go there someday, I have always loved rivers, mountains and areas of great beauty. Thank you so very much for the invite.
Maybe you could come to Colorado sometime, although I doubt that it is as beautiful as the Philippines.

Leon Gore ∙ 18 weeks ago

I like gazing at pictures of Aspen Colorado, am not sure if this is the place in mind of the late John Denver when he composed Colorado Mountain High , yeah I would love to be there while listening to John's songs. And of course there can never be a comparison between two places. It's spot has its own uniqueness which you cannot find somewhere else. Thank likewise Teddy .

I have mixed feelings about my home. Sometimes it is the best place, sometimes it could be as bad as hell.
