I'm actually amazed at how slow ( conversation-wise ) this site is compared to other sites of comparable traffic ranking. As an example, another blog directory ( I won't say which one because the owners are butt-holes and I don't want to give them any unwarranted promotion ) that ranks about the same has a lot more interaction between contributors than this place.

And there seems to be a lot less personal blogs and a lot more ' money blogs ' ( blogs that are thrown up just to make money ). I check out the ' recent blogs ' tab fairly regularly looking for regular blogs, and I'd estimate 90% of them are ' money blogs '. Most don't even bother uploading an avatar.
