Tiger by the tail
What is it that catches your eye first about someone's blog? Is it their avatar, their byline, their latest post?
Thanks all!

Liking a blog is not enough. Absorbing its message and content seems more invigorating and intellectually stimulating. And it at the end of it, the reader learns a valuable lesson, so much the better!
Hi Mythcalledlove
Yes, the different styled avatar's always catch my eye, and what I find off putting is if someone writes extremely long posts ie: the ones where you are forever scrolling down. I like blogs that are easy to move around, as some blogs are so complicated you need technical support to find anything (if you know what I mean). Good content is always a winner.
I find if a blog has pictures and short to medium long posts that are interesting to read catches my attention. I dislike reading blogs that I can't hear a "voice" of the writer... If that makes any sense. :P
Catchy blog titles usually catch my interest....but as I say that my title is not really very catchy. LOL
Also if it's a blog similar to my interest or if I find I can relate to the writer. I am following a blog right now about an agoraphobic gal. With hers it's like I'm rooting for her and hoping she succeeds.
I do like pictures and a good "about me" because I'm always curious about the writer.
i will follow if i like the content (obviously) and if the blog is well presented, simple and easy to read, good photographs and a good sense of personality through the writing :)
For me, its the content. I don't like too much reading. Short and precise contents with good information and message is my favorite.
I only follow a blog that has interesting and informative contents.
I would follow nn easy to navigate blog with a few good articles on subjects that interest me.
The content maybe ... For me i like to read. By following others blog will increase my source of reading
