Well, if you're going to ask me, I write about random stuff. I don't focus on just one category. I'm the type to explore different areas of interest in just about anything. It's kind of hard because you have to be knowledgeable on a lot of things, but it's fun at the same time. You get to learn more as you do research on your chosen topic.
I also write about a wide range of subjects (anything that interests me), but my single most common topic is Hong Kong, where I live (50 posts to date).

good to know about that. sometimes, blogs can be a little boring if you keep on posting about the same stuff.
I like to write about different things as I don't have a niche. Each week I just write about whatever comes to mind :)
i'm just so happy that there are still lots of people like us who post about everything.
All my post are about food not for oddly enough (for me lol)

I write more randomly, just whatever I feel about writing about. Currently I've been writing a bit about the past, reminiscing as its the holidays and it just gets me melancholy. Over all, probably about love more than anything, as I'm in a wonderfully happy relationship.
I fully agree with what you said though, its REALLY fun getting into new topics, because you get to do research and find out more about things that you might not have known.

I write about life, science and technology. Sometimes mixing them all up. And sometimes I just write about whatever picks my fancy. It's hard to come up with something to say every day.
Science and technology will always be one of the most interesting subjects one can ever write. I find it a little a hard to write about the latter because I'm not that techie.
It's always good to write about Life, but sometimes too much cliché is kind of boring, unless you put a little humor to it then it becomes entertaining.
And I couldn't agree more with how hard it is to write just about anything that people will be interested in.
I usually write about (1) religion and its influences, (2) my books and (3) of course about myself.
