What’s going on?

What’s going on?

Every morning, when I reached office, I have a habit to type TOI-epaper on google. With the help of my moving mouse and some more clicks, finally I reached on front page of today’s TOI everyday. Headlines by headlines, clicks on clicks, in span of 30 minutes, I have just gone through. Apart from some Biz news & Political drama, advertisements, and sports (which I am least bother about) all are dangerous, rare, illegal, disgusting, worst etc. which disappoints me everyday.
The questions are where we are now and where we are going with all this headlines? Our social values are diminishing day by day. We are not social animals any more. We become real animals, even worst than them. We become greediest, corrupted, emotionless, feeling less, selfish, dangerous and even worst.
Ethics, principles, values are now in books, as we become blind, unable to find out the difference between wrong and right. In day-to-day life, hardly we heard / see / read any good thing, the newspapers are full of crime, corruption, scams, frauds, scandals so on.
We live in a world, where “Father rape his daughter”, “Husband killed his wife for another girl”, “minors are busy in watching prons”, “illegal abortion becomes a routine decision”, “unjustified sex ratio”, “popular sex videos through MMS/You tube/Social networking”, “bribe at hospital for life”, “gang of minor held for rape just for the fun, ………….. are just a few. The list is endless.
Sometime I feel why sex is in everyone’s mind. According to me, it is just a part of life. All are agreed that as a human being, we are entitled with“superior creature” on the earth. But truth is that no more we are entitled with it. Now a days we are just behaving like animals, have crave to every opportunity of doing sex, not happy with one life partner, not having loyalty in professional and personal life, become greedy, can’t wait for grow up, addicted with porn on every possible mean.
We are changing, and that is the one side of coin. This is demand.
As an old proverb says“taali kabhi ek hath se nahi bajti”, so another hand or another side of the coin are all those people, who are provide the supply to this poor mentality. Movies (except the few one, who are meant to be educated), rest are for business just to make money. Internet is the biggest one who is responsible for this. Currently, sex is not only in videos or imagination, it is also, in words. In a civilized world, we become more and more double meaning. Our words are not pure now. Movies like “Dirty picture” which truly reflect the double meaning image of our society. Two things are worth to appreciate, one is theme, second is acting by the team, still we are not comfortable for watching that with our parents or children, not even listen its dialogues with them. We will not tolerate, if someday we found our children watching porn, or deliver that type of double meaning gossips at a very young age.
So, I appreciated the effort of authority to ban such movies on prime time, I will also appreciate it in future also. I personally feel that there is nothing like “grow up” in this case. We should grow up to remove this cheap mentality, we should grow up to maintain our ethics/values and we should grow up to put a stop on these things forever. Yes, we need to grow up.
So, not just grow up, but also, be Mature, Sensible and Responsible citizen!
