I think pictures are always important on blogs. You should have a visual element to your blog even if you are more of a writer than a photographer. I personally like blogs that look different. I see so many blogs that kinda look the same so it is always refreshing to see one that STANDS OUT!

Images are helpful, as long as you label it right..it somehow increases your blog stats :D

Pics indeed catch the eyes at first sight , but the content is what gets in to you , and makes you follow , well that s my reason ~

It is indeed interesting when a blog has pictures in it that either tells the whole story or at least gives you an idea what the blogger wants to say to the readers. :) I must admit I love looking at pictures particularly the whole "home page" design/theme of a blog especially if it is colourful. The more colourful the blog is the more I am drawn to read it.

I think that blogs with pictures are great! I'm working on incorporating more photos into my blog because right now mine is mostly just narration. The main reason I don't have a lot of photos on my blog is that its a pain in the butt to upload them, and I don't always have a photo of what I'm looking to write about on hand when I'm writing. I do sometimes go back and add photos later :)
