considering the topic of your blog, i don't think you'll get that much clicks on adsense. People who read your blog might not be in the buying mode. You might want to look for a substitute ad program. Like here in the Philippines we have nuffnang and the advertisers there also do CPM ads on popular lifestyle, health, fashion, etc.. blogs (has to be local though). That means that they pay for the impressions on the blog, not for the clicks. So as long as there's a large traffic the blog will earn something.

Another option you might want to try is using amazon and promoting a relevant product on your posts or some of them. Determine first who's visiting your blog and what they're interested in and work from there. For example I'm currently building a personal fitness blog and I can totally see fitness gear and maybe some supplements being relevant products to promote on there.

For traffic, you might want to improve the sharability of your posts. I don't use blogspot much, but is it maybe possible to get bigger more in your face share buttons???? the ones you've got are way too small and your readers might miss them. Look at the sharebar on the left, if you can find something likethat on blogspot then you'll probably get more shares/likes/tweets.
