i agree that evryone needs a second time, it only takes a period of time to give a second chance,and its hard to give a second chance because they think that the person who needs the second chance will repeat their mistakes. and of course on the first time,they don't know their doing .

why most of you say everyone desreve a second chance! but the real thing is theres no second chance... it is up to you to take all the chances that you have, or regret it after all. make your self deserve from the chances that the universe gives to you... time will be waste and we will never gonna get it back everything that is already happen. as for the saying? People always need a "Second Chance." Life ain't chiseled in stone.
In the 21st Century, people are less forgiving and understanding. Back in the 20th Century, at least in the United States, kids had childhoods. Dad worked or Mom worked, but kids had a chance to "be kids."
Now, kids are products. Some parents start lining up schools for the kid, even before he or she is born - that takes prior planning to the level of stupidity.
Instead of kids being given the time to play, they get shoved off into a child care center and programmed like the rest of the little yard apes.
Life has become a formula, even for kids. In 2011, I'm sure Missouri farmers show more attention to their cattle than most people show to their kids.
The whole "Tough Love" crap of the 1970s was more about getting kids to "conform to the norm" that people making the time to listen to the kids, especially when Mom and Dad were locked into The Grind of Making A Living.
Society At Large needs to rethink the Formula Of Life of trying to robotize everyone. We all need, Second, Third, Fourth, as many chances as it takes to find our "comfortable" place in the world.

if u r getting second chance for the same thing then u shd feel really garteful and try all ur best in that second attempt.....which u left first time...but ..second chance rarely comes..to anyone..:(we hav to do it in out first attempt only..

I find it interesting no one seems to have mentioned the idea/concept that each time you try something you learn. This is why the next time you try you are more likely to succeed. Opportunities, however, may or may not present themselves again. At least, the same opportunities won't. This being said, that doesn't mean you won't be able to achieve your goal.
