Recently, two prominent figures in the entertainment industry in Manila went through a patheic tragedy. Both of them lost their sons. The known actor lost his eldest son to suicide because of love problem. And the other son of the other TV host apparently overdived from a condo veranda.
Incidentally, both parents decided to donate the "valuable eyes"of their sons to a reputable eye bank. They said it was a good gesture and a humanitarian thing to do.
Do you agree with them or are you a puritan who audibly thinks that "eyes are personal property" and therefore should not be distributed for charity.?

I'm a registered organ donor. Should something happen to me prematurely, I'd rather have my organs help someone than rot in a body I no longer need. Imagine how amazing the gift of sight could be to a blind person. I work in a hospital that specializes in liver transplants. There isn't much more you can give someone compared to the gift of life.
How do you feel about it?
