I am a mother of three children. I was born and raised in Japan. I got a B.A of Economics from Nagasaki University in my hometown, Nagasaki, and moved to Canada for my MBA. I lived in a couple of different countries and met my dearest husband in Tokyo, Japan.
I enjoy taking care of my children and I am proud of how well they have grown. They are such a joy. A funny thing is that I was determined to raise them in an American way (combined with some Japanese cultures). However, I have noticed that increasingly I started thinking of how my mom used to do and seeing more values in it. It’s such a privilege for me to be able to see things from both an American and a Japanese viewpoints.
I have always had a passion for writing. I enjoy expressing my thoughts in writing. I also love arts. I simply think being able to express yourself in an artistic way is wonderful. So, I am hoping that this blog will lead me to my future goal of writing a book one day. Also, I am interested in cross-cultural analysis. I would like to use this blog as a starting point to expand my knowledge on cross-cultural studies and collect useful data for those scholars and for marketing research.
