Originally from Smalltown, Ohio I am a newly published author of the book Life through the Eyes of a Hurricane: Doggie-Dog!

When I'm not writing, blogging or scrapbooking I am a wife and the mother of an almost teen-ager -my wonderful son.

We enjoy a wonderful life together in a small rural area of North Carolina although truth be told, we would rather reside at the beach but perhaps someday (with the luck of the lottery Gods?). The ocean is truly our vacation of choice; Life is Wonderful at the Beach could be the title of a book depicting our family.

As a family we also riding bikes, walking and golfing as a family. In addition, my 'real' job as a special education teacher keeps me incredibly busy so writing takes a back seat at times but if I ever get another chance at life, I want to come back as a full time writer.
