I have an innate regard for the past and simply love to refurbish, recycle, and repurpose things from long ago! I get much satisfaction in finding a dusty old trinket that I can polish, paint, or primp up,-restoring it’s vitality and bringing it into the now to once again be cherished. Don’t misunderstand me, I’m all about brand new price-tag-wearin’ items too! My home has both new and old items, and I’m partial to neither. I just have a passion for decorating with things I like-whether they came from a store or a spider-webbed garage. I suppose you could say my home is eclectic in that every room has its own theme going on. I guess you could call me a schizophrenic-decorator, because I don’t have just one style. Ironically, there is still a certain flow that happens as you step from room to room. On a personal note, I am a mother of three fabulous kids, a wife to a hard-working man, a graduate student, a full-time employee, a small-time entrepreneur, and, as of today, a blogger! I decided to start this blog because friends often ask me to help them decorate; so I thought this would be a fun way to show what I do, how I do it, and what my thought process is when I do it =]
