This site was created as a multi media brainstorm of sorts. It will serve as the beginning and organization of my eventual autobiographical book with the same title. Several of my personal friends and experts in related fields have and will be invited to assist me in my goal of finally writing the book I have always wanted to write.

Wiley has always been an alter-ego. The name was given to me before age two by my uncle Jack. My mother was a single mom. She, my older brother Ray, and I lived across the street from Jack and his wife Hilda in Cullman County, Alabama.

I have always wanted to be Wiley and not just plain old Shane. Wiley moved to Hollywood and played an ironic role of a schizophrenic boy (Condemned) but the personal reality scared him so much he left. He majored in Theatre and fought at the drop of a hat. He is trailer trash and a wanna be rap star all in the same day. He is a cuss word away from throwing a punch. He was an attempted womanizer in college, but he was too codependent to succeed. One could say he's a loser. He might be. However, he knows how to survive. When things get hectic, traumatic, or scary he finds a way to make it.

At about age 22 someone heard me speak of Jack's creation of Wiley and suggested that I might want to "get that checked." I did. It was negative, I have no mental disorder, but Wiley might!
